Help us build a greater East High School!

Wichita High School East, one of eight comprehensive public high schools in the Wichita Public Schools USD 259, is located on a 44-acre urban campus and serves a geographic area of 10.5 square miles. Wichita East is the largest school in the State of Kansas, and the crown jewel of the State, with over 2,300 students comprising a multi-cultural cross-section of youth, represented by over 50 different nationalities. Wichita East hosts the only International Baccalaureate program in the City while also supporting special needs and disadvantaged students within the community. The Student Body of East truly mirrors the diversity of our community and world, today.

Our Mission

The 100th Anniversary
The Wichita High School East building was completed in 1923 and we are celebrating 100 years of the City of Wichita’s largest and oldest High School throughout 2023. East is the first school to establish a certified Endowment Fund in support of a variety of teams, clubs, organizations and financial needs for all things “East High!” The support of the Endowment Fund will allow students to excel and engage with the community at the highest levels of achievement and prepare them as ambassadors to the world, much like the many proceeding classes and generations of Blue Aces who have embraced the world with positive attitudes and high energy!
